Here are some pictures of Alexia's b-day party. We had it on Saturday since Yusef had to leave today for D.C. and won't be here for her actual birthday! It was a beautiful day out and we had about 40 people that came. The other couple of pictures is of our MOPS (Mothers of Pre-Schoolers) group from my church and Alexia with straight hair. I was straightening mine and she wanted it just like mommy's!

I have to write this quick before I forget to! We are getting ready right now to go to my friend's baby shower and I told Alexia to hurry up because we need to go to a baby shower. She came up to me so sweet and asked, "But Mommy, are we dirty?" I said, "No honey!" She said, "Then why do we have to go in the baby shower?" SO ADORABLE!

Sorry it took forever getting pictures up! Here are some of an Easter egg hunt at a friend's house from church. There are a couple from our hotel stay at Harrahs. The girls sitting ledge of the window in our room, by the pool and posing outside of Ben & Jerry's. Alexia playing with her game Guess What I am? Ariana's bump on her head 45 minutes after and 3 days after it happened. My AVON Mother's Day baskets (if anyone needs one, let me know!!!) Yusef sleeping with Ariana & Baxter!
Last, I have to throw in this passage that I read yesterday from Psalms 16:8-11.
Because he is holding my hand, I will not be moved. That is why my heart is glad and I rejoice; that is why I can rest in peace. You will show me the path you have chosen for my life. In your presence I find complete joy. I will find everlasting happiness in you!

Tonight was the award's night for Upward Basketball & Cheerleading. Here are the pictures that we received. The speaker tonight traveled all over the world playing basketball and talked about how he always wanted to be so good at sports. He said his main focus was to be better than anyone else and he was always chasing after something, whether it be basketball or soccer or a new this or that. Eventually that would wear off. Even after reaching the dream of being able to play in other countries, he still wanted something more. Even after having new "things" in his life, when he got those things he wanted more, until he found Jesus. When that happened, he said that he found what he was needing and something that constantly fulfilled him and has never wore off! This is sooooo true! Upward is a program that first teaches self-esteem, character and who Jesus Christ is, then the sport itself. This was my second year coaching and Yusef's third year. Enjoy the pictures!

We went to the beach for a little while and then Yusef and I went out with some of his old classmates! We went to Isabella and then to Rincon to visit the lighthouse. My friend, Eileen, came with us to help with the girls!

Day 2 in Puerto Rico! Today we went to Build a Bear and the girls got outfits, carriers, purses, makeup and shoes for their bunnies that Titi, Tio, Astrid and Manuel gave them when we arrived here! After that we drove to Utuado in the mountains and took a boat on a lake to eat at a little spanish restraunt. It was beautiful! On the way there we stopped and bought coconuts. The man who we bought them from cut the top off, drilled a hole and put a straw in it! We drank the coconut water and when we were done, he cut them in half and we ate the meat of the coconut! On the way home we stopped at a outdoor mall and the girls played in a little playground there and ate ice cream! We are having so much fun!

DAY 1 of Puerto Rico!
We had a great day today visiting Old San Juan with Titi Sarah, Tio July, Astrid and Manuel! It was so beautiful! We went to the Fort (el morro) The Spanish built it in the colonial times to protect the island and they used it in war! The girls and I tried our first Limber and we ate at a great spanish restaurant! We rolled down the hills and flew kites too! We're off to a great start and are looking foward to the days to come!

This was A devotion that I did that really spoke to me! I hope it does to you to!!!
WHERE WILL YOU SPEND ETERNITY?
In our homes, we use smoke detectors to warn us of fire. Our car's dashboard has lights to indicate a malfunction. We'd be foolish to ignore these warnings. Similarly, we need to pay close attentions to the scriptures that warn us about the terrible consequences for rejecting God's provision of a Savior.
The Bible tells us how to be reconciled to God so we can spend eternity with Him. We need to understand and accept that...
SIN SEPARATES US FROM GOD(Romans 3:23;Col:1:19-22).
Because of Adam and Eve's rebellion, we all are born with a nature bent away from the Lord. His justice requires that we pay for our transgressions.
GOD SENT HIS SON JESUS TO MAKE THAT PAYMENT FOR US(1 Cor 15:3)
Only the death of one who was perfect would satisfy the Father's righteous judment. Jesus lived a life without sin, which qualified him to become our substitute. He willingly took our place and died in order to pay our penalty. God accepted his death in place of ours and declared us righteous in his sight(Rom 3:22)
SALVATION IS A FREE GIFT, RECEIVED THROUGH FAITH IN JESUS (Eph 2:8-9)
Our good works will neither satisfy divine justice nor pay for our transgressions. They are not what God requires for forgiveness or adoption into His family. Faith in Jesus is the only way to God (John 14:6). When we accept Christ as our Savior and Lord, heaven becomes our eternal destination.
God wants you to live forever with Him. If you haven't yet made your eternal destination certain, you should do so now!
This devotion has really been on my heart lately and today's message at church was all about heaven and why we are here! Our pastor was showing us in the bible many places where it says that we are only here for a short time and if we would only realize that, how much easier would it be to overcome trials and worries of this world. I thank God that I have a relationship with him and know where I'm going and I hope that all of you do too! If not, he is only a prayer away!!!
