Ariana came home from school on Friday with this project they did!

Ariana calls these hats Yo hats and she has been asking for a Yo hat all winter! We went to a surf shop and let her pick out one and this is the one she wanted!

The girls and I took a trip to WI at the beginning of March. We flew into Minneapolis and rented a car to drive to Cashton. It is usually about a two and a half hour drive, but because of the storm it took us five hours to get there!

I had to take a picture of this! I was driving in town and had to pass an Amish horse and buggy!

This is our farm. There were 6 foot snowbanks after the storm was plowed!

I ordered the cable for my camera, so I promise as soon as it gets here I will put more pictures up! I am anxious to see how much the girls have changed in a month. Alexia now can climb up the whole flight of stairs, with Yusef or I behind her of course! We let her try and thought that she might be able to go up a couple and she took right off! We are going to Florida in April to see Yusef's family and some old friends! Ariana keeps asking how many more days. I wish I would have waited to tell her!!! Hopefully I'll get the cord by the end of this week!

Alexia had her nine month check up today and she was 18lbs. 3oz. and 28 inches tall! She is in the 40th percentile for her weight and 75th for her height. The doctor told me that it looks like she'll be tall and skinny!

Well, we have a little problem!!! Alexia was sucking on the USB cord for my camera and it no longer works to upload pictures! So.... I won't be adding any pictures until we get a new cord! I will keep you posted though!!!

Ariana tied her shoes for the first time by herself today! She told us that we never have to tie our own shoes again, she will do it for us!!!

Alexia now says her first word!!! She has been saying dada and papa now for a couple of months, but if you tell her to say it she won't do it! The other morning I went in her room and she was looking to the floor saying "Uh-oh". I looked down and her pacifier was laying on the floor. It is so adorable! If you ask her to say Uh-oh she says it! She was nine months old yesterday! Wooooohooooo!

Ariana brought this home from school to give to us for Valentine's Day. It was so adorable! The box is a magnet!

Here are some more of the projects that Ariana brought home last week from school! The bottom heart we made for Papi while he was in D.C.

When we woke up this morning, Yusef told me to stay in bed. He came upstairs and told me to follow the Reese's peanut butter cup trail. It led downstairs to the kitchen table where there was a heart made of the candies, three red roses for me, a pink rose for Ariana and a yellow rose for Alexia, and a gift certificate! It was awesome! Last year he made us heart pancakes, but this year it was heart omelettes!

When Lisa was here back in December, I won a four pack of tickets to go see Go Diego Go Live from a radio station. The show was by Philadelphia on Friday night. Ariana had a blast! Alexia was having a great time also!

Alexia has been walking holding on to everything. When Yusef came home he got this walker out of our storage unit and she loves it!

Sorry I haven't updated the pictures, but Yusef had the camera while he was in D.C. for two weeks. The girls missed him so much! Here is a picture of them cuddling with him the day he came home!

We made this snowman and had a snowball fight this morning! It was so much fun!

Ariana woke us up this morning all excited that there was snow on the ground!

THE FIRST SNOWFALL!!! Last night it started snowing as we were driving home from some friend's house. We pulled over so Ariana could play in it!!!

We went to The Children's Museum on Friday night with a friend! It was well worth $3.00!

Yesterday morning I went to get Alexia and she was standing up in her crib!

Alexia cut her first tooth this morning!

We all went to Shark park on Sunday afternoon. It is about 18 blocks from our house and Ariana and Alexia road in the jeep. It actually goes pretty fast, 5mph!

Alexia has been carrying this toy sax in her mouth. It is so funny because she crawls everywhere and keeps it in there the whole time!

Yusef's sister, Naima, brother, Gaby and his girlfriend Carrie came up for New Years. We are going to try to make it a tradition to be together every new years!

Yusef's brother and sister came for Christmas and we all went out! We had our neighbor's grandaughter babysit the girls! It was good to get out, but we missed them!!!
