Yusef started a bible study a couple of weeks ago called Crazy Love by Francis Chan. Tonight he showed me the website and I watched this video. I think everyone should watch it!!!

Yusef and I volunteered at our church this summer for day camp. It ran 2 weeks and was amazing! Yusef worked with the children with woodworking and I lead Hip Hop. Here is a video of my class:)

Yusef threw me a surprise 30th b-day party today. This is a little of the video that our friend took for us! I thought I was going to sign someone up for Avon under me. My friend Ann was coming with me to introduce me to her! It was a great surprise and an awesome day! But, I still need someone to sign up:):):)

I am finally getting some pictures up of our trip to WI. We had a great time and it went too fast. We went to Noah's ark, played in a volleyball tournament, went to praise & worship at the La Crosse center called CityPrayz, we had some amish come to our yard sale at my sisters' house and Yusef got to go with Jered and pick up hay! The girls loved being able to run around without a care in the world. On our way home we stopped to see my friend and college roomate Allison! The weekend after we got back Ariana had her first piano recital and we had Ariana's b-day at the roller skating rink!

Ariana's 7th birthday was on Thurs. Aug. 13th. She had been wanting to go to the
Rain Forest Cafe and we had never been so we took her there for her birthday dinner!

Saturday we volunteered for the Best Day Foundation in Long Branch Island, NJ. It is an organization that takes handicap children surfing and tubing for their best day ever! They range from 4 to 21 years of age and handicaps from autism, down syndrome, blindness, muscular dystrophy and more. Yusef took them out surfing and was spiderman! The kids went crazy when he came out doing a backflip! I was a beach buddy to a nine-year-old named Joey who had autism. He was awesome. Here are a few pictures. Yesterday we got to go have lunch with the producers of Walking with Dinosaurs. Ariana won 4 tickets to the show in Sept. and we got to go yesterday to pick them up, get her prize pack and have lunch. We saw a preview of the show which was the smallest dinosaur they have in the show. We could have 4 people for the luncheon, so since Yusef had to work, Ariana took her friend Gianna!

Pictures from Chuck E Cheese on Alexia's birthday and Ariana's first piano lesson!

Here are some pictures of Alexia's b-day party. We had it on Saturday since Yusef had to leave today for D.C. and won't be here for her actual birthday! It was a beautiful day out and we had about 40 people that came. The other couple of pictures is of our MOPS (Mothers of Pre-Schoolers) group from my church and Alexia with straight hair. I was straightening mine and she wanted it just like mommy's!
