The first is an awesome picture of Yusef during the airshow! The next two are the demonstration of a SAR (Search & Rescue) Yusef is hoisting the swimmers down!

I took a position doing live marketing/promotional modeling in the beginning of Aug. It is something I used to do in FL part-time and is something I thought I could pursue again! It is so much fun and I love doing it! I've done two for L'oreal Skin Genises and now this one for the Ferrari Challenge promoting De'longhi expresso makers!

Abuela Myrna & Abuelo Rene came up to visit us. They got to see the air show, we went to the shops, boardwalk, rollerskating & visited the casinos. Enjoy the pictures!

Alexia is now potty trained!!! This is the fourth day in a row with no accidents!

Yusef got to fly in the Air Show this year. There were over 700,000 people that came to see it. It was amazing! We got to go to the Borgata the night before and have dinner with the Thunderbirds, Golden Knights, the Air Force and the Air National Guard. Yusef's mom & stepdad came up and were able to see it with us!

We went camping last weekend in PA near Rickett's Glen. It was a lot of fun, despite the thunderstorms and bear scares!!! We took a little hike and saw a beautiful waterfall, the guys had a great time at the pond with the rope swing and we went to a little old fashioned carnival! Enjoy!

We had Ariana's 6th b-day party at our house! There were 11 girls that came and 7 that stayed overnight for a salon sleepover. I did all of their hair and they also got their makeup and nails done! We also did a red carpet fashion show! It was a busy night, but they loved it!

Alexia getting into my makeup!!!

Hollywood!

Ariana jumped off my friend's diving board and swam to the other side with no floaties!!!

Sorry it took so long to get new pictures up! Our computer crashed and we just got a new one! This slideshow is of our recent trip to Washington, D.C. My mom and little sister, Amanda flew in to Baltimore and we spent the night in D.C. with Yusef. We toured D.C. the next day and then drove home. They were here for five days and we were busy the whole time. We had so much fun! Alexia still is asking to go see Grammy and Amanda. I told her they were in Wisconsin and she said, "Well, let's go get em!"

We went to Delanco Camp, a christian retreat, again this year over Memorial Day weekend. The theme this year was "Believe". It was a great and refreshing weekend. It is definetly easier to believe in God when things are going great, but what about when things aren't going our way or we seem to be at the bottom? That is definetly where I found God, but sometimes it is difficult to believe when things aren't going the way I planned. One of my prayers for that weekend and from now on is definetly for God to help me with the areas in my life of unbelief and to trust him no matter what the circumstance!

Ariana's spring kindergarten picture!

Tuesday, April 29, 2008

We surprised my Mom on Saturday night with a 50th b-day party! It was quite a trip! I took the girls by myself because it was too quick of a decision to go and Yusef couldn't get off work. We flew out of Philadelphia @ 9:00 in the morning and had to make an emergency landing in Pittsburgh. The Captian described to us that the plane has two packs and one failed so the cabin was depressurizing. So we were in the airport for nine hours when we finally got to go to Milwaukee. But, the flight to Madison was delayed because of the weather. We ended up getting home at 3:00AM when we were suppose to get there at 2:15 the day before! To top it off, they lost my luggage! We finally got it back yesterday, the day we flew home! It was insane! No diapers, no coats, no clothes! Well, the important thing is we got back safe & we did get everything back!

We got our first puppy of the family. Yusef said we had to get a male since he was already out numbered! He is a 4lb. Maltese named Baxter. The girls love him!
