Ariana's spring kindergarten picture!

We surprised my Mom on Saturday night with a 50th b-day party! It was quite a trip! I took the girls by myself because it was too quick of a decision to go and Yusef couldn't get off work. We flew out of Philadelphia @ 9:00 in the morning and had to make an emergency landing in Pittsburgh. The Captian described to us that the plane has two packs and one failed so the cabin was depressurizing. So we were in the airport for nine hours when we finally got to go to Milwaukee. But, the flight to Madison was delayed because of the weather. We ended up getting home at 3:00AM when we were suppose to get there at 2:15 the day before! To top it off, they lost my luggage! We finally got it back yesterday, the day we flew home! It was insane! No diapers, no coats, no clothes! Well, the important thing is we got back safe & we did get everything back!

We got our first puppy of the family. Yusef said we had to get a male since he was already out numbered! He is a 4lb. Maltese named Baxter. The girls love him!

We went rollerskating with our Young Commited Couples Group on Thurs. night. It was so much fun! It was Alexia's first time so I was holding her hand. She said, "No mommy, I wanna do it myself!" She did so good! Ariana did good too except she still has a bunch of bruises on her butt! I am finally getting over being sore and Yusef was fine! Yusef & I both did the races which was fun! Danielle won for the girls & Ted won for the boys!

Alexia is now counting to ten! Every time we go to the church, which is usually 4 days a week when she comes to work with me, we go over a couple of speed bumps. Since we moved to Smithville everytime we would go that way, I would count to ten and go over the bump. One day a couple of weeks ago, I didn't count and Alexia started and went all the way to ten! She is a little smartie. She'll be two in May!

Last night after I put Alexia to sleep I was putting laundry in the washer and heard her yell "Mommy!" I went up to the door and asked "What sweetie?" She said, "I love you so much!" That was the first time she has ever said it and it was too cute. This morning we were eating breakfast and she said, "Guess what, I love you sooooo much!" I've never heard her say guess what either. She is something!!!

Sunday afternoon we went to the park behind the church. It was fun, but a little chilly!

Ariana sang at church on Sunday. It was so awesome to see her up there singing her little heart out! They did two songs, one singing Wannabe and one doing sign language to Jesus I Love You.

We had a scavenger hunt at the mall on Friday night for our Young Commited Couples Group. It was so much fun. We had 30 minutes to take pictures of different categories and we were judged for creativity!

We went up north last weekend with our friends Jeff & Sue. It was the first time I had been snowboarding and I think if I could only say one word to describe it, that would have to be OUCH!!! We stayed at a christian retreat camp that is ran by Sue's uncle & aunt. Jyden & Alexia were inseperable! It was a fun, relaxing weekend and we had a blast playing Apples to Apples & Cranium!
On the way home we stopped by a state park!

Yusef surprised me with dinner at Simply Fondue. It was sooooo good!

Sunday night we had a superbowl party at our house. We had a lot of fun playing Cranium at half time. The kids had fun destroying the bedroom!!!

Things are staying extra busy! I accepted a full time position at the church after we came back from Florida and it seems like now everyone needs there hair done! It's a good thing though!!! Alexia comes with me two days out of the week and is going to my friend's mom's house (who goes to our church) two days. She loves it! Yusef is studying to take his service wide test in May. If he passes he will be a Petty Officer 2nd Class! Ariana is busy with Cheerleading and school!!! Alexia is talking like crazy!
